THE GRUBB FAMILY ASSOCIATION.
The Association is a non-profit making, one-name society dedicated to the study of the surname GRUBB and its recognised variants. Membership is open to any person bearing the surname GRUBB, or a recognised variant, or to any person who considers that he or she can trace their descent from a Grubb forebear.

The Association assists members in their research by means of the GFA database and archives which are maintained by the Historian. It relies on the members making available the results of their research in turn so that the database can be extended. Members are therefore encouraged to present their research findings in the Association's twice-yearly newsletter "Grubbing Around" at whatever stage they have reached.

The Association is affiliated to the Guild of One-Name Studies and its newsletter "Grubbing Around" was awarded First Place in Category "A" of the "Guild Award for One-Name Periodicals" in 2003. It has featured in the top three places in previous years.
