The Artists in their own words
Peter Grubb Prints and Paintings http://www.peter-grubb.com
My works are about contemporary motifs, contours and shapes, that inspire vivid beauty and clarity. Graphical and clean, the 2 dimensional becomes architectural, and substance becomes pure style. The works are for an environment and world without clutter, distraction and preconceptions.

Neville Smith Photography http://www.nevillesmith.org.uk
My images are chiefly concerned with conveying the sense of the physicality of light and space and the relationship between people and places. There is a concern not to just document or literally describe but to visually represent a transitory space that involves movement, colour and interaction. View Collection
Carole Hawthorne Paintings
The work is concerned mostly with my responses to living in a city, its changing light, atmosphere and density. Dawn, midday, twilight or night, different times of the year. It seems that light creates a stage set, you get enigmatic glimpses, fragments of activity. Colour is a predominant factor in the work. Although I do refer to observed colour sensations, I donšt feel there is a need to depict what I see but I strive to record a subjective experience. Process has become a major player in the making of the paintings. Marks are painted onto the canvas with a masking liquid to provide a structure and then veils of colour are repeatedly applied. Subsequently, the masked areas are removed to reveal the complex tones beneath.

For me, photography offers an opportunity to record a sideways glance, to
offer a glimpse of something or someone off the beaten track. My pictures
come from back alleys, cul-de-sacs and overgrown paths. People are present
whether their touch has long since faded or whether they're of our time.
